i’m addicted to the library. 27 items out! i checked some of these things out in, like, may. i’m not kidding. it’s a problem. we’ve had to dedicate a whole bookshelf (small, but still!) to library books/movies.

i f’ing LOVE Louis XIV’s music. it’s got a GREAT beat and there’s just something in it that makes me NEED to dance. but, seriously, their lyrics are bad. like, WAY misogynistically bad. to the point where sometimes i can’t listen to them, depending on my mood. but there’s a certain mood that strikes and “The Best Little Secrets Are Kept” is the ONLY album that will do. shhh…don’t tell anyone. i might lose my feminist card!
Casualty of Wii! August 22, 2009
i totally broke my girlfriend today.
apparently, the new space for our wii is NOT big enough for us to play tennis together. i seriously thought i had broken her elbow at first.
sad dee-dee!
that’s a package of “meat” crumbles because it was the first thing i grabbed out of the freezer. 
i busted her blood vessel!
i know it doesn’t look like much, but it looked worse IMMEDIATELY when it happened. also, it’s right on her elbow and hurts her a lot whenever she moves, since there’s really no cushion there.
and, right afterwards, when i was still trying to help her feel better, i kicked jake, the sweetest cat alive, right in the face! i need to be locked up so i can’t hurt anyone anymore today.

this isn’t always the case, but when i and my favorite IT girl have spent the last week trying in vain to figure out why our query output STILL wouldn’t add up to what we could see on the screen, only to determine that we were WAY complicating it and could have just pulled off of one lonely, perfect table and gotten exactly what we wanted, well, i just feel extra stupid.
