i once went to a seminar(oh, about 25 years ago when I was in grad school) in which a woman told a similar joke (the audience was like 95% male) and many guffawed. I wish I had had enough gumption to stand and leave, but instead I just sat there in dismay and stunned silence. Then I fumed for hours. Somethings are just not funny. Some people are just idiots.
