so, i know i’m far from the most organized person in the world. this, despite my apparent addiction to organizing paraphernalia. however, being messy does have its perks. namely, you get wonderful little surprises every now and again. like today when i went digging in the backseat of the car and found a missing U2 cd and a BareNaked Ladies cd that i forgot i’d even purchased! woot! it’s like christmas in my car!

argh…bad day March 19, 2008
don’t you just love it when you make a huge mistake, but catch it just after it’s had its effect? you couldn’t have caught it 5 minutes earlier when you could have stopped the process, could you? nope, it just had to go through and make your life a little bit more hellish. it’s way past time for me to go home and it’s only 3:20.
cause damn if we’re gonna use that silly free speech thing for good around here March 19, 2008
…said George W. Bush, “I am not gonna you know, go and use the Olympics as an opportunity to express my opinions to the Chinese people in a public way.“
shakesville’s wolfrum has a nice post on the amazingly fuck-witted stance our grand leader is taking on china and the olympics.
cranky & vain March 14, 2008
is anyone reading this anymore? i know this is supposed to be my personal journal, but part of it is the feedback i used to get on boothead. i know i took a while getting back into the swing of things, but i’m blogging again, and it seems like no one is paying attention. hey, i told you at the beginning that i was feeling cranky and vain.
holy crap she touched me!!!! March 1, 2008
okay, so i’m going to post a much more in depth account of the hillary clinton rally, but i just have to say quickly that it was f-ing awesome and i’m SOOOOOO glad we went. it’s so rare that we Texans get a chance to participate in the “little guy” side of politics (as opposed to the $1000 a plate fundraisers known as the Texas ATMs). so i’m just glad it’s happening and incredibly thrilled that we lucked into some of the best seats in the place.
this is the hand she shook!!
okay, more tomorrow/later next week when i have time to do some real blogging.
(thanks so much to deanna for getting me involved and to janie & sarah for coming to share this experience)
